#36 "A seat at the table" Black Lives Matter with Ike Ubasineke
Monday Jun 15, 2020
Monday Jun 15, 2020
Ike is not only one of my best friends, but he's the Director of Leader Development at Booster Enterprise and the owner of We Inspire, a Leadership Coaching organization.
Over the past few years, Ike has helped me walked through some of my toughest challenges as a leader. We talk almost every day. But lately, our conversations have been a lot different. I've leaned on him more than ever to let me into his world as a black leader, so I can gain empathy and understanding around the Black Lives Matter movement and the inequality that we (white people) have somehow swept under the rug as leaders for so long.
He blessed us with his time today so hopefully, you can learn what I've been learning and gain some insight as well.

#35 The man himself: Ryan Fischer's Origin Stories and the Power of Connections
Tuesday Jun 09, 2020
Tuesday Jun 09, 2020
I honestly wasn't even sure what to title this episode because it's so awesome and we talk about so many things.
Ryan is a former 7X Crossfit Regionals athlete that now owns CHALK PERFORMANCE TRAINING in Neport Beach, California and is one of the most well known names in fitness right now. He probably creates more online programs than anyone you know, and if you've ever heard of HIIB (high intensity interval bodybuilding), he's the one who trademarked it.
I interviewed Ryan about what brought him to where he is today, and how he went from athlete to successful business owner with no real business experience.
There's literally so much to his story, so check out the episode for more!

#28 Sal Frisella from 1st Phorm on Leadership, Culture and Mindset
Wednesday Apr 22, 2020
Wednesday Apr 22, 2020
To others, Sal is the President of 1st Phorm, a dad, a husband, a friend, a leader, and a philanthropist. But he describes himself as a "regular dude who likes beer, working out and helping people". Sal has helped his brother (Andy Frisella) build one of the largest, but most importantly, most reputable brands in the fitness industry as well as the sports supplement industry - 1st Phorm. I've been wanting to do this interview since I started my company (Superfit Foods) and to be honest, we wouldn't be the brand we are without 1st Phorm paving the way.
